The C-Kite story
From a passion for kiteboarding to a professional local school.

Louis has also gained international teaching experience in Denmark and Germany. Today, he oversees C-Kite’s daily operations and works alongside a team of experienced instructors.

Why Langebaan?
A world-class lagoon for learning, progression and adventure.
Langebaan brings together dependable seasonal wind, protected lagoon water and a variety of riding conditions within one remarkable destination. Its more manageable areas give beginners room to develop their foundations, while stronger winds and open water allow experienced riders to refine their technique and progress.
Wind strength, tides and water conditions can change throughout the day. This is where local knowledge becomes valuable. C-Kite’s instructors understand how to match the rider, equipment, lesson location and conditions on the day.
Reliable seasonal wind
The main kiteboarding season creates regular opportunities for riders to learn, practise and progress.
Protected lagoon water
The lagoon offers a different riding environment from exposed ocean beaches, with a useful range of water conditions.
Progression for different levels
Beginners can develop their foundations while experienced riders work on freeriding, advanced skills and hydrofoiling.
Experienced local guidance
C-Kite matches the rider, lesson approach and suitable riding area to the wind, tide and water conditions.
Wide beaches, open skies and the natural West Coast landscape make Langebaan a memorable destination both on and off the water.
More than lessons
Everything you need to spend more time on the water.
C-Kite supports riders beyond lessons with kiteboarding and wing-foil equipment rentals. Visitors can rent wetsuits, boards, bars, harnesses, kites and wing-foil equipment, with practical advice based on their experience and the conditions.
